5G市场效应接连展开，磷酸铁锂再次成为众人瞩目的焦点。对于长期扎根磷酸铁锂电池的企业来说，机会之门狭隘而开启。
3月份以来，受益于政策层面的频繁输出，5G网络、数据中心等新型基建进度开始加快。不久，中国移动、中国铁塔发布了磷酸铁锂电池招标清单，近4GWh的磷酸铁锂电池需求向市场释放。
根据规划，包括移动、联通、电信、广电等四大运营商预计到2020年底，将累计开通60万座5G基站（包括新建和改造）。
考虑到各大运营商需要提前完成5G基站建设目标，除中国移动外，中国联通中国电信预计将于月中旬开启5G基站电池招标。
高工锂电研究院分析认为2020年国内5G基础设施项目将取得大发展；在双向推动作用下，5G基站将是2020年大力推广的必然趋势。保守预测，2020年新建和改造的5G基站需求将达到10GWh。
这对于磷酸铁锂电池企业来说无疑是一个重大的细分市场诱惑。高科锂电了解中国移动中国铁塔招标周期预计5-6周；近期，多家磷酸铁锂电池企业已在准备方案数据，进入招标程序。
事实上，此前已有多家锂电池企业扎根基站电池，包括天邦股份、南都电源、双登集团、熊涛电源、嘉贝斯等。而随着5G基站风电电池企业在磷酸铁锂电池领域的深度布局，势必会进一步在这一市场展开竞争。
不久前，宁德时代发布2000亿元定增投资计划，其中175亿元投资与储能相关，巨头们扩大产能和技术优势，实现成本降低。一旦进入5G基站领域，部分关系户电池企业就会造成降维受损。
同时，包括国轩高科、亿方锂能、天使科技、鹏辉能源、瑞普能源等在磷酸铁锂电池方面具有优异发展潜力的企业，都已不同程度地在储能或基站市场发力。
可以预见，随着5G基站建设进入红利期，这些企业有望成为5G基站电池市场的有力竞争者。
